Hi, we found a bug today that would cause servers running large worlds to crash when trying to do backup every 30 minutes.
This is what's been crashing your world.
We have a fix and we plan to release it after some testing, tomorrow morning CEST.
Hi, the fix is out now!
When you click on the Realms button after restarting the Minecraft client, the latest.log should say "Realms library version == 1.13.8".
Then please try uploading your world again.
Thanks!
D'oh, that's definitely a bug in the Realms Client.
I'll see about fixing it and getting the fix out in a couple of days.
Good catch, thanks!
Hi again, thanks!
I can see in the logs that you switched the slot for your realm at 3.14 EST, which finished at 3.15, but unfortunately i can see nothing in the logs about any upload.
I'm not sure why, but it seems like for some reason the upload request did not reach us at all.
Do you have any errors in the log files in your .minecraft/logs directory?
Hi, we recently fixed a bug in the Uploader where file names could not be longer than 99 characters.
That's probably why this particular JSON file was rejected.
"Unsupported path" means that that particular file has no functional use on Realms, and removing it should have no effect for playing on Realms.
As for the ".DS_Store"-files, these are created by MacOS Finder.
They used to be simply hidden, but as i understand it, they have been made even more invisible in recent versions of MacOS.
I could try to find your upload in the logs to see what might have gone wrong.
Could you tell me your username and name of your world please, and the time+timezone that you tried to upload please?
It's great if you want to try again so it shows up in recent logs.
Thanks!
Hi!
This message is normal.
We filter out this image so we don't have to check all uploaded images for content.
The realms-upload.log
is only written as the last step of a successful upload, so the upload should have succeeded.
Could you please clarify what you mean when you say "the upload fails"?
Hi! Open a new report, please. 🙂
